Chad Sabadie Biography
Chad Sabadie is an American journalist who currently anchors at WDSU in New Orleans, Louisiana. He anchors the news from 4:30 am to 7 am Monday through Friday. Chad also sticks with WDSU News morning anchor Randi Rousseau and meteorologist Kweilyn Murphy. Prior to joining his current station, he was a sports anchor at FOX8 since October of 2012, after serving five years in Baton Rouge.
Sabadie attended Lake Castle School in Sidell and later went to Pope John Paul II in Slidell for his high school education. After high school, he graduated from both LSU (B.A in Mass Communication in 2003) and USC (Masters in Journalism in 2005).
Most notably, he started his television career as the Sports Director at WABG in Greenville, Mississippi prior to making a move to WBRZ in Baton Rouge. Serving in south Lousiana, Sabadie has been fortunate to report many Super Bowls, BCS National Championship games as well as the College World Series.
Following his career journey, Chad has been working full-time in television since 2005 and has been back in South Louisiana since 2007, reporting both the Baton Rouge and New Orleans markets simultaneously. Currently, Sabadie serves as a morning news anchor at WDSU in New Orleans, Louisiana. Additionally, he anchors news from 4:30 am to 7 am Monday through Friday.
