Chelsea Edwards Biography
Chelsea Edwards is an American seasoned journalist currently working as a reporter for Fox 26 News in Houston. She is also an American actress best known for her work on ABC’s Grand Hotel (2019). Edward has more than 10 years of experience reporting from coast to coast.
Chelsea is a graduate of Tuachan High School for the Performing Arts in Ivins, Utah, where she received numerous awards in theatre, dance, and debate. While in college at Chapman University, Chelsea completed internships at CBS in Miami, the BBC in London, NBC’s Investigative Unit in Los Angeles, and the Fox News Channel’s Los Angeles Bureau.
Edwards started at KTTV Fox 11 News having spent much of the last five years covering every major story in the region. She has covered the 2015San Bernardino shooting, the 2016 Presidential election, and almost every major fire and natural disaster to hit our area.
Prior to joining Fox 11 News, Chelsa worked for ABC 7 Eyewitness News as an anchor and reporter. Soon after, she became a viewer favorite as she covered everything from politics to law to entertainment, and interviewed many of the most powerful politicians and famous faces in our city.

Before her stint at ABC 7 News, Edwards was a Los Angeles-based network correspondent for CBS Newspath, covering major national stories for CBS stations across the country. She was also the morning anchor of News 12 Westchester in New York where she hosted at least 4 hours of live programming every day. Before the morning stint, Chelsea served as a reporter for News 12’s Westchester, Long Island, and New Jersey stations.
Prior to entering the New York market, Chelsea worked as a reporter and anchor at KNWA/KFTA in Arkansas. One of her most memorable assignments for the station was when she covered the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in London; shooting, writing, editing, and reporting her own pieces.
In addition, Chelsea reported live from the American Idol finale in Los Angeles in 2010 and 2011, an event she had worked on for Fox since its sixth season. Moreover, Edwards reported extensively on local government and the extreme weather of the region; from tornados to ice storms to heat waves while at the NBC/Fox affiliate.
Before moving to Arkansas, Chelsea worked for the Fox News Channel’s Los Angeles bureau, where she helped produce the network’s coverage of major stories such as the massive California wildfires in 2006 and Michael Jackson’s death in 2009. Edwards started working at FOX 26 in October 2019.
