She joined KTTV back in 2000 as a weather anchor/meteorologist. Before joining KTTV, Maria worked nearly two as a weather anchor for the daily 5, 6, 9, as well as 11 pm newscasts for OCN (Orange County News Channel). Prior to that, she served as the evening meteorologist for NBC affiliate KHNL in Honolulu.
