Leclerc is a proud graduate of the University of Massachusetts. She joined the university in 2007 and after 4 years she graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
Her career started in September 2007, when she accepted a job invitation to work as a production intern at WFBY. However, she worked at the station for 5 months and then left for Manhattan. In Manhattan, she was hired as an intern at Fox News Channel.
