Chloe Rose Fineman is an American actress, comedian, impressionist, and writer. Fineman became a featured player on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live starting in its 45th season in September 2019. She is also known for her role in films such as Search Party (2016) and High Fidelity (2020).
Rose was born and raised in Berkeley, California, United States. She went to school at Piedmont School where she graduated in 2006. While there she was part of the drama and comedy club where she directed some films and also took part in them such as The Vagina Monologues and Crime of the Heart. Shortly after graduating, Fineman attended the Tish School of the Arts at New York University. In addition, she got her training at the Stella Adler Studio.
Soon after graduation, Chloe moved to Los Angeles and began working with The Groundling, an improv comedy troupe. She also worked with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Moreover, Chloe has also appeared in short films like The Morning After, Knee High, and Men Don’t Whisper. In 2018, she was recognized as a “New Face” at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal, and she was nominated for Best Comedian at the 2019 Shorty Awards. In 2019, she was cast in two episodes of Search Party, an American comedy series. Additionally, Fineman has also been cast as a member of Saturday Night Live, the long-running NBC sketch-comedy show, as a featured player on September 12, 2019, together with Bowen Yang and Shane Gillis.
She was given the position of MVP by Andy Hoglund at Entertainment Weekly. Later on, Chloe was promoted to Repertory player on September 2021, shortly before the show’s 47th season began.
