Chris Bouzakis is an American broadcast meteorologist currently serving as the morning weather anchor for WWLP 22 News based in Springfield, Massachusetts. Previously, he worked as an on-air meterologist for News 7 which is a student-run TV station based in Vermont. Chris even gained more experience by working as an intern weather anchor for various stations across the United States before moving to Vermont and Massachusetts
Bouzkis was born and brought up in New Milford, Connecticut. He grew up as a very smart and intelligent person who enjoyed watching the weather reports. Thus, boosting his passion for weather and meteorology from a very young age. Chris finished his high school and middle school studies in his hometown. He then enrolled at Northern Vermont University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences and a broadcasting class of 2021.
Chris began his career as a student weather anchor at News 7 during his years as a college student. He was also a member of the NVU Lyndon AMS & NWA Associations. During his tenure with 7 News, Chris was able to present an array of news reports from Thunderstorms, hurricanes and snowstorms during the winter season for the people of Vermont. Bouzkasi joined 22 News after his college graduation in 2022. He was able to cover the October snowstorm that boosted his fame and prominence as a meterologist. Chris now enjoys hiking, Skiing and traveling across the world during his vacations and free time.
