Chris Rose Biography
Chris Rose is an American sportscaster currently serving as a studio host for many NFL Network’s critically acclaimed programs. She joined NFL Network in 2012 and he is currently the host of NFL GameDay Prime with Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders each Sunday of the NFL season. In addition, Chris has been co-hosting the daily show International Talk on MLB Network since 2011.
Rose is a play-by-play commentator for Battlebots on ABC. Previously, she was an on-air host at Fox Sports from 2000 to 2012 where he served as the on-site pregame show host and called play-by-play for selected games for MLB on FOX. Rose has been hosting The Best Damn Sports Show Period on Fox Sports since its inception in 2001.
During his service at Fox Sports, Chris also hosted Million Dollar Challenge as well as Fox’s pre and post-game coverage for the 2009 All-star Game and World Series. Moreover, he called play-by-play for FOX NFL Sunday and hosted Fox Sports’ Bowl Championship Series coverage for the last four years.
On February 18, 2021, Chris announced that he would be joining Jomboy Media with a podcast titled “The Chris Rose Rotation.” The show featured various MLB players as co-hosts for the 2021 season. The first episode of the podcast premiered on March 1, 2021. Furthermore, Chris hosts a daily baseball show with former MLB player Trevor Plouffe entitled “Baseball Today”.
