Claire Kreuz Biography
Claire Kreuz is an American journalist currently working as a reporter for KLRT FOX 16 News. She joined the station in November of 2019. Prior to coming to Arkansas, Kreuz worked as a multimedia journalist for the CBS and NBC affiliates KTAB and KRBC in Abilene, Texas.
While in Abilene, Claire covered stories ranging from big fires to high-profile crimes, as well as the tornado of May 2019. Claire’s notable moment was rappelling off a 20-story building.
Kreuz was born in Midland, Texas, and moved to Boerne, Texas at the age of 9. She joined the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for two years, playing Division I college volleyball. Later on, she transferred to Texas State University and played one more year of volleyball before giving it up to focus on graduation and pursuing her career.
While at Texas State, Kreuz was an intern with the largest custom mobile kitchen and mobile business fabricator, Cruising Kitchens. In addition, she went on to intern for the San Antonio Spurs, working with their broadcast department.
Claire got her first job immediately after finishing college at KLRT, and she is thrilled to be a part of the team. When she is not working, Kreuz enjoys being outdoors, swimming, hiking, and playing sand volleyball, as well as spending time with her family.
