Colin Mayfield is an American journalist who is currently working at WLWT as an Anchor and Reporter since January 2017. For him, working for WLWT is a dream come true. He mainly reports on the community infrastructure, advancement, and development. Prior to this, he worked as a Morning and evening News anchor at WLKY and Hearst station for more than three years.
After graduating from high school, he attended Marquette University where he pursued a bachelor’s degree in communication and broadcast journalism. In college, he was a member of the MU student government and MU track. He also served as a Reporter and anchor at Marquette University Television where he Anchored MUTV’s premiere News show and edited and wrote the MUTV’s News show.
His career life kicked off immediately after graduating from Marquette University. Afterward, he joined WSAW Channel as an Anchor and Reporter in Wausau, Wisconsin Area. He edited and wrote the 10 and 6 news shows and produced news shows and produced newscasts for a period of one year and nine months. Currently, he is serving as an anchor at Hearst, WLWT-TV, and NBC affiliate in Cincinnati, Ohio.
