Before this role, she hosted the MSNBC weekend program Caught on Camera while also serving as a correspondent for NBC News and an anchor at NBC’s flagship station WNBC.
As a correspondent, Brewer covers casinos and gaming. She also covers major news stories for CNBC, including presidential elections, hurricanes, the coronavirus pandemic, and trade wars. However, she is more specialized in covering casinos, the gaming industry, and the insurance industry. Contessa joined CNBC in 2017 and is currently based at CNBC Global Headquarters.
