Daisy Haggard Biography
Daisy Haggard is a renowned British actress and writer who is best known for her roles in the BBC sitcoms Uncle and Episodes. She also stars in BBC Three’s critically acclaimed comedy-drama, Back to Life, which was created and co-written by Laura Solon. She has been appearing as Ally in the FX series Breeders since 2020, alongside Martin Freeman.
Haggard made her acting debut in 1996, appearing in an episode of the ITV crime drama The Ruth Rendell Mysteries, which was directed by her father.
Later on, she graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Daisy appeared in the BBC Three sketch show Stroke Woman and in the Channel 4 sitcom Green Wing as Emmy. She also made an appearance in an episode of Peep Show, playing a nurse, and in the BBC Two comedy Psychoville of The League of Gentlemen as Debbie.
In 2008, she played the role of Miss Steele, sister of Lucy Steele, in the adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, later playing Dona Mitchell in an episode of the BBC crime drama Ashes to Ashes in 2009.
Daisy was also the voice of the Ministry Lift in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1. In 2010, she appeared in the BBC television film Abroad, playing Poppy Young.

In July 2012, she played the role of Chrissie on Parents, a series that aired on Sky One. She further co-starred alongside Rose Byrne in the British romantic comedy I Give It a Year as Hellen in 2013. In 2014, Daisy played a role as Sam in the BBC comedy Uncle.
