Danielle Grant is an American journalist who is currently working as a meteorologist at KUSA 9News in Colorado, the United States of America. She anchors the 9NEWS weather on weekday mornings and at 5, 9, and 10 pm on the weekends.
During her first days on the air, she reported from the Black Forest in 2013, trailing the weather conditions at the time of the most destructive wildfire in state history. Prior to joining her current station, she worked at KREM-TV in Spokane, Wash where she served as an anchor and reporter.
Grant attended Cal Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. Later on, she enrolled in Mississippi State University where she graduated with a Master of Professional Science in Broadcast Meteorology. Grant was eventually confirmed as the meteorologist working toward her National Weather Association Seal.
During her college days, she was an intern at the local NBC affiliate, KSBY-TV, behind the scene of the TV network learning everything about the business. She spent most of her life in Sunny San Diego but calls Colorado home.
When off her duties, she spends her time tracking the skies, horseback riding, hiking, and many others. Exploring is one of the things she loves doing and she makes sure to spare some time for her family and friends.
