John Bachman is an American journalist who is currently working as a host and managing editor of Newsmax Now on NewsmaxTV. He has held this position since February 2014. Prior to that, he was the station’s Digital News Editor from November 2011 to February 2014. Before joining NewsmaxTV in November 2011, he worked as an anchor and reporter at CBS 12 News WPEC.
Bachman joined CBS 12 News WPEC in March 2005 and after serving at the station as a reporter and anchor he left in November 2011. He reported and anchored significant news events in South Florida and beyond. He also excelled at creating original and exclusive content. Bachman also worked at WRDW-TV as a reporter from October 2003 to March 2005.
Talking about his education, he attended The University of Georgia where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He has traveled the country and even won an award for a documentary he wrote and produced for Newsmax to commemorate 40 American Heroes.
