Dave Roberts is an American broadcast meterologist currently working as the Chief weather anchor for WLBT News based in Jackson, Mississippi. He also appears on WLBT’s sister station known as WDBD FOX 40 News also based in Mississippi. Roberts is an AMS seal-certified broadcast meterologist who is happy to call Mississippi his new home. He joined WLBT News after working for different stations around the United States for almost a decade. Roberts is mostly known for his first Alert forecasts during the Summers, and winters while updating people on the latest upcoming storms and weather changes. He is among the longest-serving WLBT News weather anchors who joined the station when he was a young man in his late 20s almost 25 years ago.
Roberts was born and raised by a working-class family living in the suburbs of the United States. He grew up as a very chubby kid who was constantly bullied from middle school through high school.
