Dawndy Mercer Plank is an American Award-winning journalist who is currently working as an anchor and reporter at WIS News 10 in South Carolina. She first joined the station in 1992 as a co-anchor then later rejoined the station in 2001 after working at WBAY-TV in Green Bay, as a reporter. She worked there for a period of three years.
Talking about her education, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications in 1989 from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. In addition, she received the South Carolina Broadcaster’s Association Personality of the Year Award back in 1994. She also received a Southeast Regional Emmy Award for Best Newscast in 2003.
Mercer has been working as the veteran news anchor for WIS-TV since 2001 and first joined the station in 1992 as a co-anchor. In her successful career as a journalist, she has worked far and wide.
