Divyanka Tripathi is an Indian television actress, best known for her roles in Zee TV’s Banoo Main Teri Dulhann and Star Plus’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein as Vidya Pratap Singh and Dr. Ishita Iyer Bhalla. She was the winner of the dance reality shows Nach Baliye 8 in 2017. Tripathi also appeared as a participant on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 in 2021, where she finished second. She’s also the recipient of the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
Tripathi was born in the Madhya Pradesh city of Bhopal. She joined Nutan College in Bhopal after completing her high school studies. She also finished a mountaineering course at Uttarkashi’s Mehru Institute of Mountaineering.
Tripathi began her career as an anchor at Bhopal’s All India Radio. In 2003, she earned the title of Miss Beautiful Skin in the Pantene Zee Teen Queen competition. Tripathi competed in India’s Best Cinestar’s Ki Khoj in 2004 and placed in the top eight from the Bhopal zone. She ran for the second time from the Indore zone and was crowned the runner-up. This qualified her for the contest’s second phase, where she finally lost.
