Eboni Deon is an American meteorologist who presently works as a meteorologist for WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia. In December 2018, she joined the Severe Weather Team 2 as a weekend morning meteorologist.
Deon worked as a meteorologist for WFTV-TV in Orlando and The Weather Channel before joining WSB. She has also worked as a weather forecaster for the Weather Channel Radio Network. Eboni formerly worked as a broadcast meteorologist for the National Weather Networks in Jackson, Mississippi, before joining Weather Channel.
Eboni also contributed to CNN International’s weather broadcasts. She started doing the weather on Al Jazeera America on weekends and part-time in the mornings in 2013 as a fill-in for chief meteorologist Nichole Mitchell, who was on reserve duty at the time. Deon also joined WISH-TV in her hometown of Indianapolis as a weekend evening meteorologist on December 9, 2014, then returned to WFTV-TV in January 2017.
Eboni attended Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. Moreover, she has earned a Master of Geosciences with a focus on Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
