Ella Dorsey is a renowned American meteorologist currently working as a morning meteorologist at CBS46 Wake Up Atlanta. Prior to joining CBS46, Ella served as a meteorologist and encountered the ever-changing weather fronts in the city such as tornadoes and ice storms.
Born as the only child of her parents; a CNN digital editor mum and an inspirational speaker for a father, Ella grew up an inspired girl, and find interest in the media world. Her father gave her a discovery channel VCR title Tornado, Hurricane, Flood when she was 4 and she became completely obsessed.
She then went on to pursue a career in meteorology and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and a certificate in Atmospheric Sciences in 2009 from the University of Georgia. She also graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2013.
After her graduation, Ella landed a job at WIT-TV in Tennessee. She worked and made sure that she utilized every chance that came across to build her career.
