Eric Flack is an American Award-Winning journalist who is currently working as a chief investigative reporter for WUSA9, in Washington, DC. He attended London School in Bethesda, Maryland. While here, he worked on the school paper in high school and college, where he was a staff writer for the Daily Tar Heel at the University of North Carolina Chapel-Hill.
In his career, his defining moment came on 9/11/2001 when he found himself on vacation in New York City after the 9/11 attack on America. Flack raced to the World Trade Center arriving moments before the first tower fell. He teamed with a CBS Network news crew and filed reports from Ground Zero for the next 4 days.
With more than two decades of experience, his work in covering local news was voted Best Reporter in Louisville Magazine’s “Best of Louisville” contest. His reports have changed policy, exposed government waste, and helped law enforcement.
