Eric Shawn Biography
Eric Shawn is an American news anchor and senior correspondent for Fox News Channel (FNC). Currently, he is working as an anchor at Fox News Live on Saturday from 4-6 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 2 pm alongside Arthel Neville. Previously, he worked as a reporter for WNYC TV in New York City, WPIX, and WNYW News.
Shawn was born and brought up in New York City, United States. He graduated from Trinity School in New York City. He later furthered his study at Georgetown University where he graduated with a degree in urban studies. Before joining Fox News’ affiliate, Eric worked at several network stations as a reporter such as WNY TV in New York City, WPIX, and WNYW News.
Apart from that, he also served as a senior correspondent for FOX News Edge. While there he has covered extensive stories such as the 1992 Clinton campaign, and the Democratic and Republican national conventions. In addition, Shawn has also provided reports for the 1995 murder trial of O.J. Simpson direct from the courthouse in Los Angeles.
Prior to joining the station in 1996, Shawn is currently working as an anchor and correspondent for Fox New Channel. Furthermore, he hosts the Riddle: The Search for James R. Hoffa Nation. While working with FOX News Channel, Eric has broadcasted from the specialized in terrorism and politics and the United Nations. Similarly, he has covered the United States terror cases and before that, he covered the death of Princess Diana and The Michael Skakel trial.
