Jim Hecht is an American writer and producer who rose to fame as the lawfully wedded husband of accomplished KTLA News anchor and reporter, Courtney Friel. He is also recognized for working in movies and TV shows like Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (2022), Robots (2005) and the popular Ice Age: The Meltdown 2006 movie.
Hecht was born and raised by a middle-class family of caucasian descent living in New York City. He grew up with both of his parents who noticed his passion for film and writing. Thus, they influenced him in joining various drama clubs in middle school and high school.
