Eric Yutzy is an American Emmy Award-winning journalist currently working at WPLG, Local 10 News, Miami, Fort Lauderdale area as a morning anchor and reporter since February 2014. Yutzy moved his family from Indianapolis to South Florida since it was negative 17 degrees.
Eric moves to cover news after spending the last 11 years as an award-winning sports anchor at WPLG. Previously, Yutzy worked for WTHR-TV, Indianapolis as a Saturday sports anchor and Sunday sportscasts from January 2010 to January 2014. He sculptured a niche as a story letter opportunity, gaining behind-the-scenes access to athletes. His coverage was the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers. Yutzy’s roles also included Big Ten Conference basketball and football, and IndyCar and NASCAR racing. Moreover, during his time in Indianapolis, he covered major sports events such as Super Bowls, Final Fours, the NBA, and NFL playoffs, and the Indianapolis 500.

He left the station and joined IndySuperRentals.com as a co-founder and marketing director until March 2012.
