Ernie Johnson is a renowned American sportscaster for Turner Sports who is currently the television voice and a studio host for Major League Baseball on TBS, hosts Inside the NBA for TNT, and NBA TV, and contributes to the joint coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament for Turner and CBS Sports.
Johnson started his career in 1977 when he was still a student at the University of Georgia. His first job was as the news and sports director for the WAGQ-FM radio station in Athens, Georgia. He then held that job until 1978 when he graduated with a B.A. in Journalism from Georgia.
