She joined the station after completing her one-year tenure as the weekend meteorologist for WVUA news in West Alabam. She even spent a year working with the Cirrus weather solutions weather team for one year. Gracie knew her passion was meant for meteorology since she was a small girl. Her most famous weather reports include covering storms, hurricanes and other upcoming weather updates happening in the summer of 2023.
Dencausse was born and raised by a working-class family living in Baron Rouge, Louisiana. Therefore, she moved to Mississippi to pursue her work as a meteorologist.
