Haley Hinds is an American journalist currently working at FOX 13, WTVT as a co-anchor of the weekend newscast. She joined the WTVT news team in October 2014. An eighth-grade field trip to KDKA-TV in her hometown of Pittsburgh made her realize her career was based on TV News in the future.
Hinds attended Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School and later enrolled at Waynesburg University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in communication and electronic media in 2008. Previously, Haley spent a period of five years reporting and anchoring at WINK News in Fort Myers. While at the station, she traveled all over the state, covering stories such as the Gulf of Mexico oil spill in Pensacola, witnessing the execution of Manuel Valle in Starke, and going skydiving with the U.S. Army Golden Knights during their winter training in Homestead.
