Haley Rush is an American journalist currently working as a reporter for the Enterprise Unit at FOX 12. She joined the station back in March of 2017. Prior to coming to Portland, Rush served as a reporter at KRQE-TV in Albuquerque. In addition, she has also worked at KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is proud of her southern roots and she doesn’t miss the blazing hot summers or humidity.
Haley is a native of Houston, Texas and she graduated from the University of North Texas, where she majored in Broadcast Journalism from the Mayborn School of Journalism. Additionally, Rush is an active member of the Investigative Reporters & Editors.
Haley’s established passion for reporting began when she covered breaking news in Albuquerque that held the powerful responsible and brought positive impact to the community. Moreover, in 2016, Rush covered a story about a New Mexico police officer accused of stealing drugs from the department’s evidence room.
When not reporting, Haley is a self-proclaimed sommelier. She likes telling everyone she meets about wine in the least fancy way possible. Her definition of a perfect day includes sipping Oregon Pinot in a Willamette Valley winery.
