Heather Abraham is an award-winning American journalist who presently works for KDKA-TV, CBS in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as the morning news anchor of Your Day Pittsburgh and co-host of Pittsburgh Today Live with David Highfield. She began working for the stations in December of 2010.
Abraham worked as a reporter for News 12 Brooklyn, a 24-hour cable news network in New York City, before joining KDKA-TV. She worked as a reporter, photographer, and editor in Brooklyn for four years. Furthermore, she stated that her time in Brooklyn was the most beneficial in preparing her for the next stage in her career.
Heather is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who has been nominated for multiple Emmy Awards, including one for a documentary about the Pittsburgh Police Vice Squad’s activities.
