Hunter Schafer is an American actress, model, and LGBTQ rights activist who was listed by Teen Vogue on its “21 under 21” list in 2017 after her activism against HB2. As an actress, she stars as Jules Vaughn in Euphoria (2019-present) and also was provided the voice of Ruka Watanabe in the English dub of the anime Belle (2021). She is set to portray Tigris Snow in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (2023).
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, she was one of the energetic children in high school. She even protested against the North California Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act. She was added as a plaintiff in the Carcano v. McCrory lawsuit against the bill on April 21, 2016. In her senior year, she was a semifinalist in the United States Presidential Scholars Program.
