Ida Tedesco is an American multi-media journalist who is currently working as an anchor and reporter at WILX. She host the weekday morning newscasts from 4:30 am to 7:00 am. Before she joined her current station, she worked as a reporter and traffic anchor at WTOL 11 in Toledo, Ohio. Additionally, she served as an on-air Style Contributor at e!, and as a Freelance Reporter and Producer for WDIV-TV in Detroit.
She attended and graduated from Madonna University in Livonia. There she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Broadcast Media Arts. Prior to her career at WILX, she was a reporter and weekend evening anchor at WTOL. She also dabbled in multiple positions in the metro Detroit area before she joined the news world. In addition, she has worked as a freelance reporter at WDIV-TV in Detroit.
Ida comes to Lansing from Toledo’s WTOL where she is a reporter and weekend anchor. General Manager at WILX, Debbie Petersmark added that “We are excited to welcome Ida to our morning show. She is joining an award-winning team on one of the top-rated newscasts in our market. We think she is a great fit for the station and our community.” When off her duties, she likes spending time with her family, baking, and shopping.
