Matt DeLucia is an American journalist who is currently working as a weekday reporter for NBC10 News since 2013. He covers breaking news and stories impacting the community. Before joining NBC10, Matt worked as a reporter and anchor at KVVU in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A native of Cherry Hill, Matt is a proud graduate of Camden Catholic High School. He later joined La Salle University where he received a degree in Communication and also holds a meteorology certificate from Penn State University.
During his college years, DeLucia worked as a reporter for New Jersey Network. He also interned at WTXF-TV in Philadelphia while still serving as a freelance reporter for CareerTV.
After his graduation, Matt joined WBOC-TV in Salisbury, Maryland where he worked as a reporter for 5 months. DeLucia then moved to KVVU-TV to work as a general assignment reporter and Multi-media journalist. After one year of service, he has added the role of a fill-in-anchor. In 2012, The Associated Press Television and Radio Association named Matt ‘Reporter of the Year’ while at the station.
In 2013, Matt joined NBC10 News as a reporter. Currently, he serves as a weekday reporter for NBC10 covering breaking news and stories impacting the community. Since joining the station, Matt has covered some of the biggest stories in the Philadelphia region, such as the Amtrak train derailment and the papal visit.
