Janelle Wang Biography
Janelle Wang is a renowned Award-winning American journalist currently working with KNTV NBC Bay Area in San Francisco. Wang reports on NBC Bay Area News at 6,00 p.m. while also anchoring the 5,00 p.m news on weeknights alongside Raj Mathai.
Since joining NBC Bay Area, Wang has won three Emmy awards; one for her coverage of the Valley Fire in Middletown, another for the Ghost Ship warehouse fire in Oakland. The third Emmy was for her coverage on the North Bay Fires in Wine Country.
In her position, she has also traveled to Kansas City to cover the San Francisco Giants World Series victory. She also went to Russia for the Winter Olympics coverage.
Before joining NBC, Janelle was anchoring and reporting at KGO-TV ABC7 where she worked for more than 8 years. While in San Francisco, she reported on various stories ranging from the deadly San Bruno gas fire to the steroid scandal in professional sports.

This made her quite popular later landing her a new guest hosting spot job with Regis Philbin on “Live with Regis and Kelly.”
