Andy Stanley is a renowned American communicator, author, and pastor. He is the founder of North Point Ministries as well as the senior pastor of North Point Community Church, Browns Bridge Church, Buckhead Church, Gwinnett Church, Decatur City Church, and Woodstock City Church.
Andy is also a published author who focuses on issues that affect the community, giving him a platform to reach out to even more people. When Work and Family Collide (2012), The Principle of the Path (2009), The Best Question Ever (2004), Next Generation Leader (2006), and Can We Do That? are just a few of them.
Andy has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Georgia State University. In addition, he has a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.
In the year 1995, Stanley established the Atlanta-based North Point Ministries. This Ministry has grown to six churches in Atlanta and a network of more than 70 churches around the world. Collectively, North Point Ministries has 1188, 000 people in its weekly attendance.
Before starting North Point Community Church in 1995, Andy served as an associate Pastor and Minister to Students at First Baptism Atlanta for many years. At some point, he was recognized by Outreach Magazine as one of the top 10 most influential living evangelists in America.
His Ministry, Buckhead Church was featured in a 2006 article in USA Today about its innovative use of high-definition video in live broadcasts.
