Jay Pharoah Biography
Jay Pharoah is an American stand-up comedian, actor, impressionist and rapper who gained fame for his famous appearances and impressions on NBC’s Saturday Night Live from 2010 to 2016. He also gained fame for impersonating Jay Z in a 2014 TV series called Portlandia. Jay even played Floyd Money on White Famous (2017) and voiced Kanye West’s voice and other characters on Family Guy in 2017. His other famous roles are in The Blackening (2022 ) and Out of Office (2022) as Neal. Pharoah even appeared as a guest judge on The Masked Singer back in 2020.
Pharoah was born and brought up in the suburbs of Chesapeake in Virginia. He grew up as a very smart and talented kid who did various impressions at the age of six. He also competed in various talent shows with the help of his father while he was growing up. Jay attended the Indian River High School where he graduated in 2005. Jay began his career as a stand-up comedian. He used to perform in various comedy clubs since he was fifteen. Jay even toured with famous acts like Corey Holcomb and Charlie Murphy who allowed him to gain popularity with various crowds.
