Jennifer Hale is an American journalist who is currently working as an NFL sideline reporter for Fox Sports and is currently paired with Chris Myers and Daryl Johnston. In addition, she covered the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans for Bally Sports News Orleans and also covered College Football for Fox Sports. Furthermore, she has been a substitute host on Fox Sports 1 shows Skip and Shannon: Undisputed and Lock It In.
Hale also covers The Basketball Tournament for ESPN as well as the Westminister Kennel Club Dog Show. She has also worked as a Sideline Reporter for TNT’s coverage of the first round of the 2017 NBA Playoffs.
A New Orleans native, and raised in Alabama, she graduated from Lousiana State University with honors where she was captain of the cheerleading squad, homecoming queen, and Miss LSU. While at the university, she interned for CNN in their Washington D.C. bureau. She also got her Master’s from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
Following her graduation, she began her career covering politics for KNOE-TV, which sent her to Baton Rouge as their capital correspondent. She also worked as a fill-in correspondent for MSNBC during her time in Birmingham. Before she joined Fox Sports, she was an anchor on WVUE-DT’s morning show in New Orleans Louisiana. During the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, she filled in for Jenny Taft as moderator forSkip and Shannon: Undisputed.
Besides her career, she launched All Access Sideline Pass in 2015, an organization that focuses on educating and empowering young women in the New Orleans community through outreaches and seminars. Her main reason for opening this organization was after encouragement from former Saints running back Pierre Thomas. In addition, She supports Alzheimer’s Research. Alzheimer’s Research is a Speech and Hearing Impaired Foundation.
