John Veneri is an American journalist who is currently working as a reporter and Host for KHON’s original lifestyle show “Living808”. He teams up with Tannya Joaquin and Mikey Monis for Hawaii’s original lifestyle show, Living808, on weekdays at 9 AM on KHON2.
He brings his irrepressible personality and non-stop laughs to Hawaii viewers as Co-Host of Living808. In addition, he has worn many hats at KHON2, from his current role hosting Living808 and “Sam Choy’s in the Kitchen” to sports anchor from 1995 to 2010 to behind-the-scenes work in production and marketing from 2010-17.
Prior to returning to hosting, he honed his production skills as a member of the KHON2 marketing and production team, writing, directing, shooting, and editing station promotions and commercials for 7 years. Following his education, he graduated from the University of Hawaii.
