Jonathan Wilson is a British sports journalist who is currently a writer for a number of publications, including The Guardian and Sports Illustrated. Wilson is also a columnist for World Soccer and Unibet and the founder of The Blizzard. In addition, he appears on The Guardian’s football podcast, “Football Weekly”.
Born in Sunderland, England, he studied English at Oxford University and was a sports editor of the student paper, The Oxford Student. He went on to do his Master’s degree at Durham University where he was a member of the Graduate Society.
As a writer, he has written for The Independent, FourFourTwo magazine, and The Daily Telegraph. Apart from that, he has been a football correspondent for the Financial Times from 2002 to 2006. Currently, he writes for The Guardian and Sports Illustrated. He is also a columnist for World Soccer.
