Josh Segarra is an American actor who rose to fame for playing Hector Ruiz in The Electric Company and Augustus “Pug” Pugliese on She-Hulk Attorney at Law since 2022. He also played recurring and main roles in Chicago PD, Orange is the New Black, and The Other Two. Josh’s other famous roles are in The Devil’s Bitch (2012), You Must Be Joking (2014), and Anything Boys Can Do (2018). Josh is also known for appearing in musical plays like Lysistrata Jones and Dogfight.
Segarra was born and raised in the suburbs of Longwood, Florida, United States. He grew up singing and attending a Pentecostal church based in Florida as a kid. Josh finished his early middle school studies in his hometown. He even played professional wrestling when he was in college and high school. He enrolled and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in theatre art from NYU’s Tisch School of Arts
