Joshua Short Biography
Joshua Short is an American journalist currently working as a morning news anchor for WNDU TV NBC16 in the South Bend, Indiana Area. He joined NB16 in May 2017 while still working for Columbia College Chicago as the host of The 30 with Joshua Short.
Joshua attended Lindblom Math and Science Academy between 2009 and 2013. Later in 2013, he joined Columbia College in Chicago, later graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism.
In July 2012, Short served as an intern at Qatar Foundation International for seven months before moving to Chicago Steam, to work as a broadcaster. Still in Chicago, he joined Yahala Voice in December 2013 and worked for 10 months as a radio personality, blogger, and intern.
Later, he explored the Chicago area further when he joined CSN Chicago as a creative service intern for 5 months. While at the station, he developed skills in the creative service department and social media department as well. Shortly, he landed a new job as a news intern at CBS Chicago in June 2016.
However, he only spent three months at CBS Chicago before he landed an opportunity to work as a Windy City Live Intern at ABC 7. This took him 5 months of in-depth experience. He then left the station to work as a tour guide for Big Bus Tours in the Greater Chicago Area.
This is the longest-serving stint to date. In addition, he has worked as the host of 30 with Joshua Short, a 30-minute show on Columbia College Chicago since January 2016. Joshua joined WNDU-TV NBC16 in May 2017 where he works as a news anchor.
