Karen Drew is an Emmy award-winning American broadcast journalist from Chicago. She is currently working as the evening news anchor and investigative reporter for WDIV Local 4 News. Previously, Karen worked as a news anchor and reporter for WJXT News based in Florida. Drew also spent a few years working as a correspondent reporter for WHOA News based in Alabama and WTVC News based in Tennessee.
Drew was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She grew up as a very active kid who focused on her dream to be a journalist. She attended and graduated from Harry D Jacobs High School based in her hometown. Drew then joined Southern Illinois University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in TV and communications.
