Shannon Spake is an American sportscaster from Florida, USA. She is currently serving as a NASCAR host on FOX Sports News. Prior to her work on FOX Sports. Spake spent time working as a contributor and sports pit reporter on ESPN News. Spake even appeared as an on-air news anchor and presenter on WCCB News based in Charlotte and North Carolina. She also managed to work as a pit reporter for Nascar Countdown and Nascar Noew from 2007 to 2014.
Shannon launched her career as a journalist back in 2001 by becoming an on-air reporter for CBS News and Nickelodeon. Spake then went on to work as a production assistant for MTV News while doing on-air duties for WCCB News on a part-time basis. In 2005, Spake left MTV and became a full-time anchor and reporter for WCCB News.
In 2007, she began appearing as the sideline reporter for NASCAR Countdown and NASCAR Now until 2014. Spake also fulfilled her duties as a pit reporter for ESPN even for NBC Sports until 2015. In 2016, Spake was hired by FOX Sports to work as a sideline reporter on their college football and basketball broadcasts. Spake now appears as the main NASCAR host on FOX Sports News.
