Kay Cannon is an American actress, screenwriter, and producer who is famous for her work in the film series Pitch Perfect, 30 Rock, and The New Girl. Moreover, she has been awarded three Writers Guild Awards and nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards.

Born and raised in Illinois, she received her education at Reed-Custer High School in Braidwood, Illinois.
