Kelly Dobeck is a well-known and notable American Meteorologist currently working as a traffic anchor and a weather reporter for WOIO-TV, a CBS affiliate in Cleveland/Akron, Ohio since November 2018. Before that, she worked as a meteorologist at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. Little Rock, Arkansas Area for KARK 4 and Fox 16 News from June 2017 to October 2018.
Dobeck went to the University of North Carolina Asheville graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology. She was also a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and an Officer for the UNCA American Meteorological Society Student Chapter. Nevertheless, she was an Officer for the First UNC Asheville Chapter. In addition, she was an NWS Certified Weather Spotter and a member of the UNCA Archery Club.
