Kierra Cotton is an American three-time Emmy Award-winning journalist currently working as a digital reporter at WKYC-TV in Cleveland, Ohio since July 2016 as an audience engagement specialist a digital content producer, and a reporter. Previously, she worked as a part-time in-game host for Cleveland Cavaliers for 10 months since October 2021.
Moreover, Cotton went to Villa Angela- St. Joseph High school. She was a member of the student council, ambassadors, peer ministries, cheerleading, and Track. Cotton attended Ohio University graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2016. She was also a member of the ASL Club, Unified Sisters, Black Student Union, and Black Student Cultural Programming Board.
