Kris Pickel is a renowned award-winning American Journalist currently anchoring the evening news for CBS 5 News based in Phoenix, Arizona alongside Sean McLaughlin. Prior to joining CBS 5 News, the award-winning anchor was the chief host for the NBC affiliate in Cleveland. She joined CBS 5 back in the June of 2015.
Pickel began her career as a college intern at a news station in Sacramento. Kris edited multiple newscasts which paved the way for a career in reporting. She started an official job as a producer and weekend news anchor in Grand Junction, Colorado.
