Kristine Leahy is an American television host and former sports reporter and actress. She rose to fame after hosting the NBC American Ninja Warrior. In addition, she is an actor and a writer.
She was brought up in Chicago during the reign of Michael Jordan, the renowned basketballer. Kristine got attached not only to the Chicago Bulls but also to sports and competition. At an early age, Leahy was sure that she wanted to spend her life within the greatest competitors in the world.
She graduated from Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois in 2005. She later joined Boston University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. Soon after college, Kristine landed a job at the sports radio station WEEI in Boston. However, after two years of work in WEEI, Leahy switched to a position as an official reporter of the Boston Celtics and Celtics.com. She then transformed it into a job at FOX Boston, where she covered all Boston area sports teams.

In 2012, Leahy relocated to Los Angeles and covered a variety of different sports. The most notable coverage of the year was the Turner Sports’ March Madness coverage. She then worked for various CBS affiliate sports outlets, including the local CBS Los Angeles news. Switching gears, she became the sideline reporter for American Ninja Warrior on NBC.
In September 2015, Leahy took a job to join the former ESPN Radio host Colin Cowherd on his new show after his exit from FOX TV. Colin cited a lack of a female voice in sports news as the reason behind hiring Leahy.
Leahy also works for KCBS-TV as a presenter and reporter in Los Angeles. As of today, Leahy still lives in Los Angeles, and you can catch her nationally as a co-host on NBC’s network’s hit primetime show “American Ninja Warrior”.
