Kweilyn Murphy is an American meteorologist currently working at ABC 11 Eyewitness News in Raleigh, North Carolina, in the United States of America as weekday morning and noon meteorologist with co-anchors John Clart, Barbara Gibbs, and morning traffic reporter Kim Deaner. Previously, Kweilyn worked as a morning meteorologist for NBC affiliate WDSU News in New Orleans from 2013 until May 2021.
Prior to that, Murphy worked as a freelance meteorologist for KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She began her career at WQED Multimedia, where she served alongside the likes of Mister Rogers and helped produce several national Doo Wop television productions and station events. Murphy’s weather career consists of stops in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, Greenville, NY; and New Orleans.
