Lee Cowan Biography
Lee Cowan is an American Emmy-Award Winning Journalist who is currently working as a National Correspondent for CBS Evening News. In addition, he is a substitute anchor for CBS Sunday Morning.
Born in Salt Lake, Lee graduated from the University of Washington in 1988 with a double major in communications and speech communications. Following his career journey, he was a frequent correspondent for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams.
Before joining NBC News, he worked for CBS News in the CBS NEWSPATH division. In addition, he worked for NBC affiliate WLWT in Cincinnati, CBS affiliate WWMT in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and KIEM in Eureka, California.
