Lucas Black Biography
Lucas Black is a veteran American film and television actor who is best known for his role as Sean Boswell in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. He is also recognized for his roles in the CBS television series American Gothic (1995 – 1996), a Special Agent Christopher LaSalle on CBS’s NCIS: New Orleans (2014 – 2019).
Lucas made a debut with a small part in the Kevin Costner film The War (1994) at the age of 11 without any formal acting lessons. This role helped him land his next job in the series American Gothic (1995). When the series went for its primary role casting in North Carolina, the casting crew in Wilmington remembered Lucas and suggested him for the role of Caleb Temple.
Black was next seen in the sleeper his Sling Blade (1996) and then in another dark film Ghosts of Mississippi (1996). At school, Lucas spent most of his spare time in Calvin Klein modeling and sports. He landed another summer hit with The X Files (1998) and finally got a lead role in the independent film Crazy in Albama (1999).
Lucas is a proud graduate of Speake High School, class of 2001. At school, he played football, basketball, and a little golf. After he left NCIS New Orleans in 2019, Lucas started to upload fishing videos to YouTube.

Lucas played Sean Boswell in Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, where he won an award. He returned to the franchise to play Sean Boswell again in Furious 7 and Fast 8. On April 16, 2016, it was announced that Lucas would reprise his role as Sean Boswell, but in a much bigger role this time.
However, Sean did not appear in The Fate of the Furious, and in July 2016, he explained on The Chris Mannix Show that he could not appear due to his schedule with NCIS: New Orleans.
Sadly, Paul Walker passed away after a serious car accident while he was filming Fast 8. With Paul Walker gone, it leaves an empty place on Dominic Toretto’s team and he will be short one best friend. It has been reported that Lucas will star as Dominic’s new best friend.
He made his return to the Fast & Furious franchise with a supporting role as Sean in F9 in 2021. In addition, he is cast in the upcoming movie: Fast & Furious 10.
