Mark Albert is an American journalist working as Hearst Television’s Chief National Investigative Correspondent in Washington DC. For more than 20 years, he has been working as a correspondent and editor-in-chief of a news startup that he launched. He is a Peabody-winning journalist who has been featured on every CBS News broadcast including the CBS Evening News as well as CBS News Radio where he worked as a freelance correspondent at the network for three years.
As a result of investigating the death of a sailor in Iraq, Albert won the highest honor in broadcast journalism, the George F. Peabody Award. In addition, Mark is the holder of the National Headliner Awards including, the Grand Award from the National Press Foundation and the National Press Club.
Albert attended and graduated from the University of South California with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science.
