Mark Mester is an American journalist currently serving as a Weekend Morning news anchor for KTLA 5 News. He joined the KTLA team in May of 2014. In addition, he loves hearing and reporting important stories, as well, he likes talking. Previously, he worked as a presenter and reporter at KEYT-TV.
Mester began his journalism career at NBC News in NYC at the age of 20 years old. After completion of his internship, he began working for the KRCR News Channel Seven News team in May of 2011. He then headed to KEYT TV station to work as a reporter. Similarly, Mark has worked both in front and behind the camera. However, he credits his growth in his journalism career to the time he spent in Santa Barbara, California. He used to work with the talented veterans at KEYT-TV.
During his free time, Mester can be found on the tennis court, in the water surfing, or devouring a delicious bowl of gelato.
